Great day played golf at MGCC, Bobby Sheer, Lucas, and Joey D. Got subs from garden deli south Plainfield, just a very nice sandwich. 

Won 5 bucks missed a lot of short putts but it was a bonus day

Called CVS to confirm that they got script from Dr Sharma office. New person not very nice at Dr office. Waited three hours stopped by CVS, not ready. DD picked up girls, got text saying script now ready, less than 10 minutes

Ordered 2 Christmas gifts from Amazon both the same except for the color. One I paid shipping on and one I didn't seemed strange

Okay I called Eddie Bauer about ordering a pair of shorts. The rep had a very heavy accent after 12 minutes she says the number doesn't match any shirt in their system. I never saw LJ laugh so hard. I asked for a supervisor and worked it out. Does anyone interview job applicants? 

Bella called late Meg is having issues with pneumonia so they will be installing two tubes to remove fluids from her lungs. I can't imagine what she is going through, this must be driving Tom crazy he is so smart but can't help.

Retro really decent work out, Craig said he will be golfing tomorrow see me Wednesday. 

Out of effient called CVS for a refill, they will contact Dr office

Unity bank for a bank check, got title from safe deposit box for flex, also gave them my gift card list. I'LL pick up the cards on Wednesday. 

Delivered bank check to sansone asked a few questions about new car. 

Home, got grilled cheese, tomatoes and bacon from Sandwich Station, outstanding choice. 

Took Rae to Walmart linden short visit 1.75 hours. 

Dropped Joe off at Dr Yaremczak's office, I went to Wegmans for grapes. Picked up Joe. Dropped off script to CVS for Joe. Took Joe home, went back to CVS for pickup
Called Sharma office about refill, not a good feeling. New person who had a very hard time with English

DD coffee funny Indian lady, offered extra donut Joe said no thanks. She gave an extra anyway. 

Watching some football of course Isabelle wore J5's practice shorts which got her in trouble

Cool Sunday

Played golf with JT, Greg, George, and Adam. It was cool and breezy. JT and Greg both hit the ball a long way, but George at a 22 handicap played the most consistent round. Adam is a 22 handicap also but wasn't very consistent. Won 5 bucks plus lunch

MGCC has no trail fee, for a club that is short on revenue that would be an area that needs investigating.

Gym better today

Craig, Maria, Bob and Vinny all there. Funny Maria was chatty today, talked about all the new houses on the street. She seems to know everyone

Decided to stop at sansone Hyundai, looking at the Santa Fe. Bryan is the sales guy. No pressure but they led me down the happy path. Boom I own a white 2017 Santa Fe ultimate. A very nice car. Arrived at 910 driving it home by noon. 

Rae fits the vehicle fine. 

We're meeting Stu and Deb Szycher for lunch. Chose Tony's south Plainfield for pizza. Their choice of venue, Deb loves pizza. Stu is a heart transplant survivor, they are heading home to Houston from Iceland. Stu sold his company and will be retiring this August. 

Tomato bread, pasta fagoli soup, pizza with vegetables and sausage, topped off with sausage roll with peppers, onions and mozzarella. I am full. Good conversation. 

Lisajoy, girls, and Joseph are going to the movies. Jack is home with us. Joe comes in he is really hurting with tooth ache. I have some antibiotics and pain killers that doc Y gave me.

DD for coffee and watching college football. Can't believe Miami lost to Pittsburgh, they looked so good against Notre Dame.

Black Friday

Gym is empty, no more than 10 people in the place including the desk person. Did my walking and streching.

Merrill Park is empty also. Did my swings no joggers, no dog walkers, just me. Chilly but bright

Free coffee at 711 ( every 7th cup with app).

D'TALIA for lunch had Italian hotdogs as recommended by Chris. It was good just enough grease.

Joe, Joseph and I put up Christmas lights and decorations. Weather is cooperating. Only thing missing is the photo sensitive switch, Joe went to home Depot after lunch and got one. Will have to wait until dark to actually set the lights but they are in place.

I just realized how disappointed I am. I really believe we would be out of the house by now. I gave away my lawn deer ornaments last year. Rae is so insistent that we stay. House is too big and costly to maintain. Not sure what I am going to do once Marinello situation settles. One great thing is the house is much cleaner. 

Rae wants to go to shin to look for a necklace for LJ for Christmas. She got pricing, does seem happy.

Moved to Cathrine of course travel scooter not working, not sure what happened. I thought I charged it. Will have to check it out.

Meeting Stu and Deb for pizza tomorrow at 230. Chose Tony's not a lot of options, strawberries and gennero are too hard for Rae to get into. 

Grant sent a text asking if we are going there for leftover turkey. Rae comes out and says yes we should. Exchanged words she wants to go home first, finally she figures out that I am right. It's after 3 we are in Edison almost impossible to go home and get to Hamilton by 4. Actually have traffic on turnpike.

Had leftover turkey, Geneen's friend from work stopped by. Had leftover turkey and napped. Raeanna is in rare form. GMK jr is too funny and cute. 

Adelina, Joe, and Joseph decided to ride home with us. Joseph aiming lights.

Not a good night sleep, was worried about amount of antipasto. I don't think I have enough.

Everyone looking great: I think Caroline has matured so much in the past three months, amazing what being away at school can do

Dinner starts amazing amount of different types of bread. Antipasti, shrimp, stuffed mushrooms and sliced tomatoes with olive oil ( delicious).

Turkey, stuffing, three different potatoes, fried broccoli, Mac and cheese, two corns plus chicken cutlets awesome dinner

It's amazing how good all the kids were, it's a very long day

Lowry's going to see Thor tomorrow night and dinner at outback, amazing to be so organized. Lol 

Caroline seems to really be enjoying Clemson, I was worried but all seems great

Watching more football games plus just talking. 

Tried to have herb install wase on his phone. It's not happening. Kneller's left 6 pm, a bit late for them. Hope they don't get lost on the way home

Took Rae her lunch, then for her hair. Temperature says 50 but it's a cold 50

Home for Rae to change, Walmart

Met Joe at Comcast to get a modem back to Walmart. 

Finally she is out, cemetery put flowers

Home, change, go to MGCC for cards. Place is packed with pre Thanksgiving well wishers, all hiding from wives with lists lol.

Just saw Bob at Retro, he said he had a good time yesterday and that we should do it more often not just once a year

Going to Bella Gina to order antipasto for Thanksgiving. Saw Anthony all ordered. 

Took Rae to Walmart in watchung, stopped for hot dogs on the way. Very bad idea on my part, expensive and tasted lousy. Truck was on Tyrell road about a half mile before route 22. 

Seems like a nice Walmart, Woodbridge and Linden's are both dingy. 

I have seen 6 people come out of Walmart with 40" big screen TV guess they are on sale

Rutgers down by 14 in the first quarter, I thought they were going to win this one

Playing MGCC Tuesday at noon, Wednesday weather looks bad. Works out better for me.

Kneller's came up for dinner, went to Tony's. Place was packed, service slow, food fine, and no fighting

Joe and I went to Scotch plains to pickup Joseph and DD.

Went to rahway hospital problem with the bills they sent Rae. They didn't apply AARP supplemental, two of the three bills corrected. Third bill is from Dr I need to call his office directly. I called they close early on Friday, have to call on Monday. 

At Walmart hopelawn. Rae has to make an exchange traffic is crazy, just went across highway to Wawa to get gas. 

Think I will skip golf tomorrow and get antipasti ordered for Wednesday morning pickup. I will use Bella Gina

Did I mention that Giants suck, how do you go from super bowl contender to worse team in football. Have to blame management. 

Surprise geneen feeling like we hate her, her and Rae are having issues. Both need to work on communication skills. Really tough when both parties think they are always right and are stubborn. 

Looks like the freeze is breaking, mid 50's by Wednesday. 

Rajiv is going to India for 10 days, business and a wedding. 

Funny how the pregame analyst for Patriots versus broncos work so hard trying to make the game sound compelling. I am finding my self rooting for the pats, must be for coach Belacheck

Dilemma Thursday

Great dilemma two people I play both cards and golf with cheat. We play for money but not a lot and neither need the dollars. I have looked the other way because it is my nature not to upset the status quo. Yesterday was an extremely bad day for me in golf I could do nothing right, went to MGCC for dinner and cards to relax. Needless to say the cheater cheated I got upset but again did nothing. Said I had a headache and went home. What do I do? I think avoidance for a bit might be the best path for me. It's 621am and I have wrestled with this all night. It's not worth my time. 

7-11 coffee refill. Thinking back I used to get large coffee, Star Ledger, buttered roll, and a banana - about 7 bucks, now I get a refill $1.06 savings 1900 annualize, too funny. 

Good extended workout at Retro. A fellow I always say hello to, says to me - looks like you are moving pretty good. I thanked him and he said my name is Dennis we never actually met. He is right we nod and wave but I never knew his name

FYI: had Burger night at MGCC last night, onion rings awesome, chips fantastic, fried mushrooms and onions great, but the burgers were tasteless. Plus $25 for burgers and salad might be too pricey to succeed

Joe and I picked up Adelina, DD on the way home.

All souls day

Retro was empty

Decent work out but none of the guys were there: Barry is still recuperating, but Bob and Craig are Thursday staples.

Need to put together a plan to get Lincoln loaner back to dealer.

Have to contact Chris Spinello having bathroom issues

Going to Merrill Park to swing club.

School bus loading in iselin. Amazing at least 40 kids. Not sure if you can notice the driver blocks the road. Apartments on both sides of road. 

Called Ford about flex glove box, pricing seems too high

Rocco from Spinello Plumbing fixed upstairs bathroom.

Going to Comcast need one more small box for upstairs. Taking two old boxes back. Done

Taco Bell for lunch, don't like it. 

Went to cemetery picked up flowers on the way. Pretty day

Drove to George Wall picked up flex

Came home drove to Hamilton to wish the kneller's a good trip.

Drove home picked up eggplant parmesan from plum tomato.  Actually it was very good

Went to DD, picked up girls at Vernon 

Watched Jets game for a bit

Very long day

Ed and Nancy

met while on a  singles cruise, and Ed fell head over

heels for her.

 

         When they

discovered  they lived in the same city only a few

miles apart Ed was ecstatic. He  immediately started

asking her out when they got home.

 

         Within a  couple of weeks, Ed had taken

Nancy to dance clubs, restaurants; concerts, movies, and

museums. Ed became convinced that Nancy was indeed  his

soul mate and true love. Every date seemed better than the

last.

 

         On the one-month anniversary of their first

dinner on the  cruise ship, Ed took Nancy to a fine

restaurant. While having cocktails  and waiting for

their salad, Ed said, 

 

         "I guess you can tell I'm  very

much in love with you. I'd like a little serious talk

before our  relationship continues to the next

stage.  So, before I get a box  out of my jacket

and ask you a life changing question, it's only fair

to  warn you, I'm a total golf nut. I play golf, I

read about golf, I watch  golf on TV. In short, I eat,

sleep, and  breathe golf. If that's  going to

be a problem for us, you'd better say so now!"

 

         Nancy  took a deep breath and responded,

"Ed, that certainly won't be a  problem. I

love you as you are and I love golf too; but, since

we're  being totally honest with each other, you

need to know that for the last five years I've been a

hooker."

 

 

         Ed said, "I bet it's because

you're not keeping your wrists straight when you hit the

ball."

Score was 2-1 when I fell asleep, final Dodgers won

Streching routine at Retro, it went well

Hardest thing for me is getting right knee past steering wheel when I exiting car. It is a very unusual move with outward pressure on hip capsule.

Spoke to Dave Campion about an assessment from MGCC, he says one is needed to be revenue neutral. A big one over 500 will drive members out the door. 

Used my RTIC at 7-11 for coffee, can't beat the price $0.99 per refill.

Taking George Sode to MGCC today for golf

LJ's moving in today. Things are a little crazy. 

Just got a call from George Wall about center console, 500 plus to repair. That's crazy. 

Played five : George, Depack, Joey D, Dave Campion, loss a few bucks

Played gin with doc, Joey, Joe Spats, Coach Dave and me won a few bucks

Pasta night is so boring, had salad bar only.

Picked up girls from dance.

Home by 9:30, Rae looks bewildered

Watched some of world series, Dodgers looking done 5-0, fell asleep
