Stefano's

Went to model train show in edison yesterday with my wife and the Marinello. So where do you go for dinner at 6 with 4 grandkids? Olive Garden in Pistcaway, we arrive at 615 and are now looking at a 40 minute wait. What to do? Well we got lucky. Stefano's brick oven pizza was there looking right at us.
BYOB seats maybe 50. It was good and reasonable. Bread was different almost like a sourdough (baked on site), had a pizza which was very tasty, pasta fagoli was hearty, portions were good size, reasonable prices and good service. What a great find we will be coming back. I would recommend it.

Villa gennaro

I really like the place:
Service good
Pricing very fair
Byob
And great food
Been going here about six years has gone from good pizza to great food.

After six make a reservation on friday or saturday

Rae had shrimp with broccoli rabe. Meg and I had shrimp and scallops over fettacini. Oyster on half shell were excellent.

Metuchen Inn

My buddy Victor is involved and you can see his classy touch everywhere. Not a BYOB, no senior citizen discounts here. You will enjoy the food and the redone decor.

Good Luck Vic

Mama Lena's

BYOB in Hopelawn not bad at all. Priced comparable with others.
Rae says that rave and red sauce were very good. I had carbonara which was excellent
Soup good but flat
Garlic knots with salad was a nice touch

Lucas

I must admit that I never was very lucky at Lucas in Edison. Last night was the exception service was outstanding, oysters were great and had a shrimp dish that was very good. Enjoyable night and not too expensive
