a few things to remember:

 

Stewart and your waiter wealth of information, never hurts to ask questions. They are people who love to share knowledge.

 

most reasonable spots in port ask the crew? these people are not on vacation so they know the most reasonable spots.

 

if you are at dinner and don't like an item ask for something else. Great place to try different foods, with no impact on your bill.

 

Their are number of different beverage plans on ships you need to do some investigating. Including all soda, all alcohol, different wine packages if you go to the customer service desk they will explain it all to you.

 

room service is neat, just remember the delivery time is a range not specific. Plus the rooms are small, very small.

 

Cruise sponsored excursions are the safest but if you have the time and are a risk taker, going on your own has tremendous advantages, just don't be late they will leave without you.

Fridays lunch has become a routine affair. Priced right, friendly service, diverse menu ( hamburgers to pasta) and a local non chain restaurant - nice combination.

Gallo Cafe

Went last Saturday evening. A byob with a warm feeling. Small dish of dips olive oil and tomatoes paste, nice bread, salad included and very reasonable. Portion size was excellent.

Just a comfortable atmosphere. I recommend it
